Extra‐pair paternity correlates with genetic diversity, but not breeding density, in a Neotropical passerine, the black catbird

Abstract: The frequency of extra‐pair paternity (EPP) varies widely across socially monogamous birds, but the proximate mechanisms driving this variation remain unclear.
