Extracapsular Hip Fractures Treated with the Titanium Captured Hip Screw System

Abstract

The Authors discuss their experience with the titanium captured hip screw system for extracapsular fractures. The present review of the results is based on a case group of 93 patients treated with this method at the Orthopedic and Trauma Clinic of the University of Siena, Italy, from March 1991 to August 1993.
