Abstract:Saussurea costus (Sc) plant belongs to the Asteraceae family. It contains various bioactive compounds used traditionally in treating multiple diseases. This study intends to extract and evaluate the active ingredients of Sc roots (Scrs) and determine their antibacterial activities.
