Purpose Interaction content is created during online learning interaction for the exchanged information to convey experience and share knowledge. Prior studies have mainly focused on the quantity of online learning interaction content (OLIC) from the perspective of types or frequency, resulting in a limited analysis of the quality of OLIC. Domain concepts as the highest form of interaction are shown as entities or things that are particularly relevant to the educational domain of an online course. The purpose of this paper is to explore a new method to evaluate the quality of OLIC using domain concepts. Design/methodology/approach This paper proposes a novel approach to automatically evaluate the quality of OLIC regarding relevance, completeness and usefulness. A sample of OLIC corpus is classified and evaluated based on domain concepts and textual features. Findings Experimental results show that random forest classifiers not only outperform logistic regression and support vector machines but also their performance is improved by considering the quality dimensions of relevance and completeness. In addition, domain concepts contribute to improving the performance of evaluating OLIC. Research limitations/implications This paper adopts a limited sample to train the classification models. It has great benefits in monitoring students’ knowledge performance, supporting teachers’ decision-making and even enhancing the efficiency of school management. Originality/value This study extends the research of domain concepts in quality evaluation, especially in the online learning domain. It also has great potential for other domains.

The Supply chain enterprise risk management and culture are the objectives of every company. However, supply development as vulnerability affects the proper handling of enterprise risks. This affects Supply Chain Performance (SCP) among citizens and stakeholders. In order to eliminate failure and create benefits, enterprise risk management demands accurate measurement. Companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have become more vulnerable to an increasing number of supply chain threats, but curiously most of them have not taken actions to institutionalize a risk culture to create risk-aware mindset in their employees. Data were collected using selected databases, specifically Springer, Scopus, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. The aim of this research is to propose an advancement of enterprise risk management (ERM) and SCP using a survey approach in order to fill gaps in knowledge. The contribution will benefit UAE manufacturing companies, especially for ERM and SCP effectiveness and Government. Also, salient factors useful to ERM and SCP for handling RMC are identified.

The multidisciplinary nature of the oil and gas sector makes Supply Chain Management (SCM) practices in this sector more complex. Moreover, lack of generic model/framework results in lack of sharing knowledge, training, proper model or framework, and add additional complexities to SCM in oil and gas sector. Furthermore, the SCM knowledge of oil and gas sector is scattered in internet, books, thesis, journals papers, conference's papers, online database, and organizations. It lacks the obvious structure to unify, facilitate, reuse, and manage that scattered knowledge. Thus, it receives little attention from researchers. Current researchers have not focused on fundamental and essential guidelines to establish a baseline for SCM in oil and gas sector. This paper identifies and proposes common SCM practices concepts in oil and gas sector to unify the view of SCM practices in the form of a conceptual framework that can be seen as a baseline for this domain. The framework will be validated and refined to assist as a representational layer to unify, facilitate, and expedite the access to SCM practices in oil and gas sector. The specific aims are to facilitate knowledge sharing, combining and matching different SCM activities according to the different situations.
