Extragalactic background light inhomogeneities and Lorentz-Invariance Violation in gamma-gamma absorption and Compton scattering

Abstract: At energies approaching the Planck energy scale 1019GeV, several quantum-gravity theories predict that familiar concepts such as Lorentz (LIV) symmetry can be broken.
