Extreme Thermophiles

Abstract: Extreme thermophiles are microorganisms adapted to temperatures normally found only in hot springs, hydrothermal vents and similar sites of geothermal activity. These unicellular organisms include diverse archaea and bacteria, and they span a wide range of metabolic strategies.
