Fabricating Fuel for the Versatile Test Reactor

Abstract: A metal driver fuel has been proposed for the Versatile Test Reactor (VTR). About 30 years ago, the Experimental Breeder Reactor-II (EBR-II) was the last reactor in the U.S. to utilize a full core of metal driver fuel.
