Fabrication of a Sensitive Sensor for Oxygen Using Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Nanotubes-Fe3C Nanoparticles

Abstract: The development of a simple, efficient and sensitive sensor for dissolved oxygen is proposed using a new one-dimensional nitrogendoped carbon nanotubes(NCNTs)-Fe 3 C nanoparticle (NPs) composite membrane/glassy carbon electrode by a one-pot, large-scale protocol for the controlled synthesis route. The obtained material exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activities toward the oxygen reduction reaction.
