Factors affecting phosphate fixation in soils of the state of São Paulo

Abstract: A laboratory experiment was carried out to study the effects of chemical and physical characteristics of the soil on the phosphate fixing capacity. One hundred samples collected from various localities were at first characterized chemically and their particlesize distribution determined.
