Abstract:Introduction. Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) is currently the priority method of treatment of urolithiasis in children. Due to the lack of extended indications for the use of this method to increase its effectiveness and reduce the number of anesthetics and unnecessary surgical interventions, over the past 30 years, an active search has been conducted for factors predicting the outcome of ESWL to create objective preoperative planning tools.
