Factors that Affect Arctic Lampreys’ Ascent Behavior on Fishway Weirs

Abstract: We conducted laboratory experiments to clarify the weir designs suitable for Arctic lamprey (Lethenteron japonicum) ascent. Ascent experiments were conducted using three weir types (sharp-crested, inclined sharp-crested and broad-crested).
