Abstract:Intraoperative neuromonitoring is recommended as standard practice for corrective scoliosis surgery. Common methods include somatosensory-evoked potentials (SSEPs) and transcranial motor-evoked potentials (TcMEPs), which have been shown to have a high diagnostic accuracy in detecting new neurological deficits postoperatively.
