Failure to Confirm Consistent Stimulation of Growth Hormone by Diazepam

Abstract: Diazepam has been reported to influence pituitary hormone secretion, with several studies claiming that diazepam provokes growth hormone release. Normal volunteers were therefore examined for anterior pituitary responsiveness to 10 mg diazepam i.v. and p.o.
