Faroese Preaspiration: A Nucleus/Onset Interaction Analysis

Abstract: This paper focuses on Faroese preaspiration, a phenomenon observed in Western Nordic and in some Eastern Nordic dialects, where fortis stops are preceded by a glottal frication noise in specific contexts.
