Fast combustion synthesis and characterization of YAG:Ce3+ garnet nanopowders

Abstract: Cerium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet can be used in white light emitting diodes and lasers. The YAG powders are traditionally formed by the solid state method, but the product particles are large, irregular, and non-homogeneous, which is detrimental for its luminescence properties.
