Abstract:Due to the abundant hydrogen bond networks, high crystallinity, and high molecular weight of chitin, it is difficult to dissolve chitin in most solvents. Meanwhile, most of the existing solvent systems have the disadvantages of high toxicity, low solubility, and high cost.
