“…Hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) was added to Tris buffer solution to build a micellar system that absorbs anions to enhance the sensitivity and solubility of QPM. 52,53 Spectral titration measurements of QPM were carried out in Tris buffer solution containing 1 mM hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) (tris : DMSO = 7 : 3, pH = 7.4, containing 1 mM CTAB). Spectral measurements were carried out in 20 mM tris buffer solution with 1 mM CTAB and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as a co-solvent solution (tris/DMSO = 7 : 3, pH = 7.4, containing 1 mM CTAB).…”

“…Jin et al reported DCM-based probe 37 for the selective sensing of H 2 S in water samples. The rapid nucleophilic reaction between cyanate moiety and H 2 S gives thiocarbamate, which undergoes further hydrolysis to give free DCM-hydroxyl derivative.…”

“…This probe was found to be highly sensitive with a LOD of 8.37 μM and responded within 9 min. Interestingly, in vivo H 2 S detection in Jin et al 91 reported DCM-based probe 37 for the selective sensing of H 2 S in water samples. The rapid nucleophilic reaction between cyanate moiety and H 2 S gives thiocarbamate, which undergoes further hydrolysis to give free DCM-hydroxyl derivative.…”

“…reported a cyanate‐based near‐infrared fluorescent probe 21 (Figure 12). [ 99 ] Dicyanomethylene‐benzopyran structure was selected as the near‐infrared fluorophore, which possessed desirable properties such as a good photostability and a Stokes’ shift of 140 nm. Electrophilic cyanate (RO‐CN) was chosen as the identification motif due to its fast and selective reaction in the presence of H 2 S. Probe 21 showed fast response (within 5 min), and highly sensitivity (detection limit: 0.28 μM) for H 2 S. Probe 21 was successfully applied in real water samples including river water, tap water, lake water, mineral water, and industrial wastewater.…”
