Fatal Sepsis and Multiorgan Failure Following Bacillus Calmette-Guerin Instillation for Bladder Cancer Treatment

Abstract: A Fatal sepsis and multiple organ failure occurred in a 61-year-old man, seven days after the anti-tumoral instillation of bacillus Calmette-Guérin for bladder carcinoma treatment. Autopsy findings revealed uncommon diffuse miliary caseating granulomas involving lungs.
