Abstract: Multisystem proteinopathy (MSP) is a rare, dominantly inherited disorder that includes a cluster of diseases, including frontotemporal dementia, inclusion body myopathy, and Paget’s disease of bone. MSP is caused by mutations in the gene encoding valosin-containing protein (VCP).
