Favorable radiographic outcomes using the expandable proximal femoral nail in the treatment of hip fractures – A randomized controlled trial

Abstract: Conclusion: EPFN provides stable fixation of pertrochanteric hip fractures and prevents neck shortening that is commonly observed after DHS fixation.
