“…Sperm HBA is a very simple, faster to perform and technically easier (Lazarevic et al., 2010) compared with sperm penetration assay (Park et al., 2012) and zona pellucida binding assay (Abdel Dayem et al., 2009) that were earlier attempted to predict fertilising ability of cattle bull and buffalo bull spermatozoa respectively. It is suggested to make this robust assay more cost effective for nonhuman use, and specifically for prediction of fertility in buffalo bulls as this animal has low conception rate with AI.…”
