Fiber optic sensors for liquid level measurement

Abstract: The article deals with the use of intensity-based fiber optic sensors for the level measurement. Two types of optical fiber sensors have been tested. In the first case the sensing principle is based on the microbending. The effect of diameter of the deformation tips at the pair of deformer plates was practically verified.
