Abstract

Das Prinzip der Veratherung ist iiberlagert von einem sekundaren Kondensationsvorgang, der sich vielleicht zum Teil schon physiologisch in der lebenden Zelle, weiterhin postmortal in der Pflanze und bei der chemischen Behandlung wahrend der Isolierung vollzieht. Hierbei bilden sich Renzopyran-oder Benzofuran-Systerne.Die bisherigen Beobachtungen haben sich diesem Schema einfdgen lassen. Auch den Ergebnissen dieser Untersuchung halt es stand, und es scheint uns miiglich, durch eine in1 Rahmen der obigen Ausfiihrungen liegende speziellere Aussage eine Vereinfacliung vorzunehmen. Diese Anderung bezieht sich auf die Stelle der Seitenkette, die an der Atherbindung mit dem Phenolhydroxyl der Nachbareinheit teilnimnit. Bisher wurde angenommen, dalJ das primare Hydroxyl des Typus I rnit dem Hydroxyl der Gruppe IV Atherbindung eingeht. Der Grund war der, daW keine endstandigen Gruppen in der Seitenkette angetroffen wurden, die sich leiclit zu Carboxyl oxydieren lieBen Die Carbonylgruppen der Typen I1 und I11 sollteti durcli Kondensation init benaclibartrn Renzolkernen ausgeschaltet sein Wir glauben heute, daB dieses Redenken nicht allzu schwer wiegt, und wollen versuchen, die Atherbindung ini Sinne der Schemata VI, TI1 und VIII zu eriirtern, meil hierdmch in allen 3 Pallen eine einheitliche Verkniipfungsart vorstellhar wird.
