Financial Reporting Dilemmas for the Maltese Local Government

Abstract: Maltese Local Councils are required to prepare financial reports compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Through documentary research, this study examined the suitability of this requirement and implications for institutional relationships.
