Finding barriers in a Small Scale Industry using ISM Methodology

Abstract

The ISM methodology is used for finding barrier in the plant. The barrier affecting the continuous flow production rate are found out by mustering the information from the employees of the firm selected and then by using Interpretive structural modeling (ISM) the most prone Cause is found and the desired suggestions are being provided. This system is not only used in large scale manufacturing industry but also in the other medium and small scale manufacturing industry. The certain barriers find out which are affecting and arising continuous flow of production in the plant, and also we tried to eliminate these barriers first by prioritizing the Barriers which is affecting the process most number of times with help of ISM.
