Finite element simulation of multi‐component vesicle morphologies undergoing phase separation

Abstract: Morphological changes in lipid bilayer vesicles are due to phase transitions and surface deformations occurring in unison. We present a dynamic chemo-mechanical finite element model to study such changes.
