Abstract

This Department of Energy (DOE) Standard is approved for use by all DOE elements and their contractors. DOE Standards are part of the DOE Directives System and are issued to provide supplemental guidance regarding the Department's expectations for fulfilling its requirements as contained in rules, Orders, and notices. The Standards provide acceptable methods for implementing these requirements.
