Abstract: Introduction. Esophageal pathology constitutes a small share in general morbidity, however, it remains highly relevant due to its social and clinical significance. Corrosive strictures account for a large proportion among benign esophageal diseases. Treatment of the disease starts with intraluminal surgery.
