First Steps Towards Augmented Reality Interactive Electronic Music Production

Abstract: Immersive music production starts to integrate Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technology. VR creates a virtual environment separated from real-life, often based on the performeraudience relationship. AR goes further by expanding the usual user listening experience over headphones but remains unexplored. This paper presents a work in progress of an AR compositional platform which allows to create interactive music experiences, through the creation process of an electronic piece.
