Flow regime mapping in gas-liquid flow in micro-channels

Abstract: Experiments were conducted in a micro-channel with square cross-section with each side being 3 mm. Gas-liquid flow is employed for determining the flow patterns with water being liquid phase and nitrogen being gas phase. Over a wide range of gas and liquid velocities the flow patterns were studied using visual inspection technique.
