Flow volume curve: A diagnostic tool in extrathoracic airway obstruction

Abstract: The flow-volume loop (F/V-loop) is a presentation of inhalation and exhalation of air stream volume during inspiration and expiration. It demonstrates the obstructive, restrictive and mixed pattern lung pathology.
