“…It is also observed that the shell thickness and size distribution of PCL 58b-PVP 66 micellar aggregates is apparently thicker and more uniform than that of PCL 58 -b-PVP 29 aggregates. The morphological change of the PCL-b-PVP micelles could be mainly attributed to aggregates of the smaller micelles due to hydrophilic interactions between PCL chains and steric stabilization of the micelle provided by the hydrophilic PVP shell part [24]. The morphology of aggregates tend to form the larger hydrophobic core, whereas the long hydrophilic chain length in the copolymers is easy to build an integral and stable shell structure for decreasing the overall free energy of micel- lization.…”
