Fluid–Structure Interactions in Marine Engineering

Abstract: Fluid–structure interaction (FSI) must be dealt with in marine engineering in order to design and construct safe and functional marine structures. This article aims to give some basic ideas about the FSI in the following aspects: (i) what FSI is and how to model it and (ii) what are the major issues and how they are tackled.
