Fluorescence Diagnostics and Photodynamic Therapy In Cancer

Abstract: Recently, fluorescence diagnostics and photodynamic therapy (PDT) is increasingly gaining in popularity for clinical use. The purpose of this review was to describe the results of using laser and molecular techniques to develop targeted cancer therapy for improved drug delivery to cancer cells with regards to tissue visualization, single-cell localization, monitoring of treatment, and drug efficacy.
