Abstract:The determination of molecular weight is crucial for understanding the properties of supramolecular polymers, but it poses challenges due to their concentration-dependent dynamic behavior. In this study, a specific viscosity-fluorescence lifetime technique was employed using 4,4′-difluoro-4-bora-3a,4adiaza-sindacene (BODIPY-C12a) as a molecular weight probe. At lower concentrations, supramolecular polymers existed as short chains, gradually elongating with increasing monomer concentration, indicating higher mo… Show more
This review focuses on the controlled preparation and applications of aggregation-induced emission (AIE)-active supramolecular polymers, aiming to inspire researchers in designing the next generation of novel AIE-active supramolecular polymers.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
