Abstract:Introduction:The renal condition referred to as focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) presents a diagnostic dilemma for the clinician. It encompasses and displays a nonspecific histologic appearance on a kidney biopsy specimen, rather than a unique disease entity.
