Abstract:Radiopharmaceuticals are currently a key tool in cancer diagnosis and therapy. Metal-based radiopharmaceuticals are characterized by a radiometal–chelator moiety linked to a bio-vector that binds the biological target (e.g., a protein overexpressed in a particular tumor).
