Forensic Prevention as a Basis for Identifying and Preventing Dangerous Situations Developing in the Arctic Region

Abstract

Proposes the broadest possible interpretation of the scope of forensic prevention, which, according to the author, should work already at the level of the very emergence of a dangerous situation with initially unknown or inaccurately established root causes of its occurrence. The author dwells on the features of the traditional scientific approach in forensic science and the difficulties in overcoming the conservatism of forensic scientists. The specific features of the implementation of forensic prevention measures as an integrating principle for all natural science branches in the collection of initial data on the crime 
 and the person who committed it in the Arctic are emphasized.
