Abstract: The tourist practices those have been developed at the sites of selected former Soviet military bases in Poland (Borne Sulinowo, Kłomino, Pstrąże) and in Latvia (Skrunda‑1, Karosta in Liepāja, Daugavgrīva fortress) are considered in the submitted article.
