Formulation and in vitro evaluation of bilayer tablets of bicalutamide and koenimbine

Abstract: This work is about developing, optimizing, and testing In vitro a bilayer tablet with Koenimbine (KNB) in the immediate release layer and bicalutamide (BCT) in the sustained release layer. Sodium starch glycolate is used as a super disintegrant in the immediate release layer, and the hydrophilic matrix HPMC-K100 is used in the sustained release layer.
