Abstract:Bounded Path Size (BPS) route choice models (Duncan et al, 2021) offer a theoretically consistent and practical approach to dealing with both route overlap and unrealistic routes. It captures correlations between overlapping routes by including correction terms within the probability relations, and has a consistent criterion for assigning zero choice probabilities to unrealistic routes while eliminating their path size contributions. This paper establishes Stochastic User Equilibrium (SUE) conditions for BPS m… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
