Fostering sustainable farming.

Abstract: This chapter discusses the environmental issues concerning the Australian farming community and Australia's initiatives in dealing with such issues. The chapter concludes by outlining the major reasons on which Australia's success in pushing for more sustainable farming can be attributed, as well as remaining issues related to environment protection and sustainable farming that require the attention of the general public, the farming community and the governments of Australia.
