“…Recently, this kind of organic ligand, 4,5-dicarboxy-imidazole (H 3 IDC), which has six potential donor atoms: two imidazole nitrogens and four carboxylate oxygen atoms, and can remove one to three hydrogen atoms forming H 3-n IDC n-(n D 1, 2, or 3) species, has attracted much attention.
