Abstract:We show that high temperature superconductivity contrary to the Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieer /BCS/ superconductors exhibits three important energy scales. The highest is associated with the formation of Cooper pairs coupled due to the magnetic fracton excitations, the second (pseudogap) we ascribe to the formation of coherent but not nonsuperuid condensate. The lowest energy scale (superconducting gap) we associate with the onset of superuidity of the condensate that is due to the phonon aided fracton hopping.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
