“…In addition to the sector-by-sector analysis of Q-anisotropy (that is, with preliminary sorting of all CDP-gathers in azimuth sectors), Sabinin (2013;2018) developed a non-sectorial or global QVOA-analysis, which is similar in some ways to the global AVOA analysis of Jenner (2002). In present research, we furthermore develop the global QVOA analysis by updating the Q -1 (θ, φ-φ0)-equation (e.g., Chichinina et al (2019), resulting in the best accuracy of the fracture-azimuth computation.
