Abstract:Capacitive wireless power transfer applies the electric field to transport energy from a transmitter to a receiver. However, if the distance between transmitter and receivers varies, the efficiency or power transfer is reduced for a system with a fixed load. By applying the bifurcation phenomenon, the system can be operated in a coupling-independent regime, resulting in a (nearly) constant efficiency or power transfer at fluctuating coupling. However, a future need can be expected to charge multiple devices si… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
