Abstract: Wind‐Diesel Hybrid Systems (WDHSs) integrate wind turbines into diesel power systems, reducing costs and emissions in isolated grids. Due to the no‐load consumption of the Diesel Generators (DGs), fuel savings are only possible when the DGs are shut down.
