Frequency Control of Induction Generator in Standalone Operation Using Bynary Logic

Abstract: This paper presents a study for the solution to the problem of stability of the steady state frequency of a generator connected to a load, by using a binary logic control. The active power flowing in the load, influences the machine generated voltage frequency. In the present study, an induction motor has been used as generator machine. To ensure that this frequency remains constant against variation of loads, a ballast load will be used, the power of which is controlled by using a binary logic.
