Abstract:600 μm thick orientation-patterned GaAsP quasi-phase matching structures were grown by hydride vapor phase epitaxy on OP-GaAs templates. Frequency conversion in the mid IR exceeding 19 % conversion efficiency was demonstrated via second harmonic generation.
