From kinetic to fluid models of liquid crystals by the moment method

Abstract: <p style='text-indent:20px;'>This paper deals with the convergence of the Doi-Navier-Stokes model of liquid crystals to the Ericksen-Leslie model in the limit of the Deborah number tending to zero.
